Terrorist Information Gathering Before Operation (Yaniv Peretz, CCTP, CCTP Board)

In this seminar, Mr Yaniv Peretz will address surveillance aspect of the terrorist operation. Hostile surveillance is the earliest stage at which the professional security operator can become aware of a potential hostile intent. For many terrorist groups, the ability to conduct hostile surveillance without fear of being spotted or confronted, is one of the main factors in choosing their targets. Surveillance awareness is a valuable tool in maintaining pro-active security.

About Speaker

Mr Peretz is a high skill security professional with over 19 years’ experience in security management
with the focus on counter terrorism. His expertise allow him to share his knowledge in designing
various training program and advice to critical infrastructures in South East Asia together with USA,
Canada and Europe
He is the managing director; owner and founder of Lorin Pte Ltd, a provider of comprehensive range
of civil security-related solutions with focus on security master planning’s and training for law
enforcement. He has been taking leading role in counter terrorism consultation project for one of
the installations that were attacked by the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist group in Mumbai on the
26/11/08.
Mr Peretz is also the program director for Certified Counter Terrorism Practitioner, CCTP, a
professional development program towards credentials, which is demonstrable proof of knowledge
and expertise in terrorism prevention. He is also the founder and Operational Director of Counter
Terrorist Magazine Asia pacific Edition.
As the Security & Regional Export Control Senior Manager – North and South America he designed,
developed, installed and supervised a trade compliance system, export control, import compliance
and supply chain security (C-TPAT) systems in addition to several other key achievements in the
region.
He Was Head of Security Asia Pacific (Shanghai) in 2006, and senior security agent; Embassy of
Israel- Singapore, in Israel Ministry of foreign affairs and was part of the commanding force in the
pull-out operation from Lebanon in 2000
